2009 – Record registered after Generation Modernization and Automation - SHP Congonhal - Congonhal I and II
REIVAX supplied the Vision System for 6 of the SHP AES Minas to modernize the excitation system and speed governor as well as to automate the power plants.
This provision included the following Vision Line systems :
- Integrated Excitation System and Speed Governor with Automation RTVAX Power;
- Hydraulic Unit and mechanical components associated with the regulation, Fluid Power line;
- Retail Automation Systems Common substation and water intake;
- Supervision System sync with GPS time and
- CCTV System with presence sensors.
In March 2009, the Congonhal's SHP I and II reported record generation representing an increase of 39.4% over the same month in 2008, thanks to the automation and modernization processes performed,.

UHE Cachoeira Dourada - GRUPO ENDESA BRAZIL
Modernization of voltage regulators and speed governor, deploying integrated voltage regulator and speed governor RTVX
Cachoeira Dourada (CDSA) Power Plant, belonging to Endesa Brazil, was built and expanded in 4 steps, reaching a total of 10 generating units with a power of 17 MW (X3), 54mw (X3), 84 MW (X2 ) and 105 MW (X2), totaling 654MW.
These turbines Generating Units are 7 Kaplan type and 3 Francis.
On these upgrades, the RTVX system was provided with the following items:
- Integrated voltage regulator and speed governor RTVX;
- Power Converters with Thyristors bridges up to 2000A Field and Contactors DC;
- Transformer Excitation Dry.
With the integrated regulation, we could automate the process of starting and stopping the units, and other basic automation unit, providing increased efficiency of operation.

Modernization of the Thermoelectric Complex Jorge Lacerda (Suez Group)
REIVAX modernized Excitation systems of 7 Generating Units of Thermoelectric Complex Jorge Lacerda, which uses coal and has total installed capacity of 857 MW spread over 4 plants:
- UTLA - 4 Generating Units (66 MVA and 75 MVA)
- UTLB - 2 Generating Units (156.25 MVA)
- UTLC - 1 Unit (411.76 MVA)
The Voltage Regulation System provided for the RTX UTLC, whose generator is 411.76 MVA, and all the redundancy of control, have power panels with a capacity of more than 4000 A field current of the generator.

Substation Sant'Angelo - Full Electric Cabin - CTEEP
REIVAX provided a complete electrical cabinet with Excitation System and Voltage Regulation RTX to control synchronous compensator for Substation Sant'Angelo, CTEEP company.
The Excitation System was provided to meet the need of 4000A to the current field.
The Panel was composed of the governor with 10 cubicles, between control, AC filter, power field and bridge rectifiers, making it a device with more than 8 meters long.
The main distinguishing feature of this solution was the power rectifier, consisting of 5 Thyristors Bridges, 3 and 2 Positive and Negative.

Modernization Valve Distributor - UHEs Jupiá and Ilha Solteira Hydro Power Plant
REIVAX held modernization of the Valve Distributor of Jupiá e Ilha Solteria Power Plants, CESP, providing a valve designed and manufactured by REIVAX in partnership with leader companies in mechanical technology.
This valve is designed to work exclusively with digital controllers, thus improving the dynamic behavior of the regulation.
In addition, this valve is to work with a flow rate of up to 9000 lpm, thus enabling control of the Kaplan turbines of 94MW Jupiá and Francis turbines of 144 MW at Ilha Solteira.
Voltage Regulator and Speed Governor of these hydropower plants are also REIVAX products, RTX and RTV models.
