Over speed centrifugal pendulum;
The over speed pendulum is settled accordingly to the characteristic of the machine so that when it reaches the desired speed, the over speed mechanical device (trigger) is reached.
- Over speed device;
The mechanical over speed device is formed by a set of valves actuated by trigger and limit switch. When the position of the valve is switched, the oil supply to the starting valve is interrupted. In the same action the position of the limit switch is switched, providing an emergency signal to the protection relay of the power plant. |
